Terms of Reference

General

These T&Cs incorporate, and should be read in conjunction with, any ticket vendor's and / or ticket agent's terms or rules, which you can obtain from the vendor / agent you purchased your tickets from. Your purchase and / or possession of a ticket constitutes your acceptance of these T&Cs.

These T&Cs apply to all individuals and groups who wish to gain access to or are present at the event site. This includes (but is not limited to) paying ticket holders, complimentary / guestlist ticket holders, artists / performers and working personnel.

Working Personnel (including artists / performers) who are in possession of working accreditation must abide by these T&Cs, in addition to the POTP Brighton 2026 Accreditation Terms & Conditions. Copies of which are available on the Accreditation System and from the onsite Accreditation Office.

These T&Cs are governed by English Law and any dispute arising out of or in connection with these T&Cs shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. If any of these T&Cs are unclear, please contact the Organisers.

We reserve the right to make alterations to the time, date, duration, and venue of the event in the event of unforeseen or other circumstances, including (but without limitation) Force Majeure, safety and security concerns or decisions from authorised persons or other competent authority. The advertised artist / performer line-up, attractions and facilities are subject to change at any time without notice.

Amendments to these Terms & Conditions of Entry

Accessibility

We aim to accommodate accessibility needs to the best of our ability. Please contact the access team via the official event website in advance of the event to discuss your requirements, as services have limited capacity and are likely to sell out in advance.

The event is held on a greenfield site and open-air. We cannot guarantee protection from the weather or the ability to access all areas of the event.

Free Carer Entry Ticket scheme

The Event operates a Free Carer Entry Ticket scheme for applicable customers. Carer Entry Tickets are available to those who can provide evidence of one of the following:

We recognise that the evidence above is not definitive. If you do not have any of the above, please contact us via the official event website to discuss your requirements. Supporting documents must be clearly dated within the last 12 months or show the current valid date and clearly show the Name and Address of the recipient.

The Free Carer Entry Ticket will be cancelled, void, and entry to The Event denied if evidence is not provided, insufficient evidence is received, or a fraudulent request is received.

Carer tickets are not allocated to parents / guardians of children aged 12 and under, as all children attending POTP must be accompanied by a responsible adult / carer. See Age Restrictions for further information.

Accessible Viewing Areas

The Event operates Accessible Viewing Areas for applicable customers, including Access Viewing Platform, Seated and Standing areas.

We reserve the right to request photographic ID from you on entry, while in the event site or on exit.

Gold Circle Entry Tickets

Under 18s will only be permitted entry if in possession of a valid Gold Circle ticket which must be purchased in advance. They must enter with and remain accompanied by a responsible adult aged 21 or over who is also in possession of a valid Gold Circle ticket.

VIP Entry Tickets

Under 18s will only be permitted entry if in possession of a valid VIP ticket which must be purchased in advance. They must enter with and remain accompanied by a responsible adult aged 21 or over who is also in possession of a valid VIP ticket.

All tickets are non-refundable except if the event is cancelled or postponed.

In the event of postponement of the event before it has started, and where it is rescheduled to another date, the ticket holder may elect to either use the existing ticket for the rescheduled date or apply for a refund:

Searches and Prohibited Items

For the security, safety and comfort of all guests and staff, security searches will be in operation at the event:

Prohibited items

For the security, safety and comfort of all guests and staff, the Organisers reserves the right to confiscate items and dispose of them. Prohibited items include (but are not limited to):

The Organiser reserves the right to amend the Prohibited Items list at its discretion.

Anyone resisting the confiscation of prohibited items or disregarding these conditions will be refused entry into the event or ejected from the event site. Confiscated items will be disposed of. The Organisers are not responsible for the loss or damage of any confiscated items.

A Zero Tolerance Policy regarding the possession, use or sale of illegal drugs is in place at the event. Anyone found in possession of illegal, new psychoactive and unidentifiable substances or paraphernalia, may be refused entry, ejected from site, or handed over to the Police.

Your welfare and safety is our primary concern. If you feel unwell you should speak to a member of event staff or visit the welfare / medical centre immediately for non-judgemental care and support.

Alcohol purchased at the event must be consumed within the event site. Alcohol must be disposed of or surrendered on exit.

Security

Right to refuse admission

To facilitate the security, safety and comfort of all guests and staff, the Organisers and Premises Licence Holder reserve the right to refuse admission (R.O.A.R.) to any individual or group. Reasons for refusal of entry include, but are not limited to:

If you are refused entry, your ticket will be void and any wristbands / accreditation will be removed. If you are refused entry, you are not permitted to re-enter, or attempt to re-enter, the event site for the duration of the 2026 event. The Ejections & Refusals Manager decision is final. You are not eligible for refunds or compensation if you are refused entry to the event site.

Right to evict

To facilitate the security, safety and comfort of all guests and staff, the Organisers and Premises Licence Holder reserve the right to evict from site any individual or group. Reasons for eviction from the event site include, but are not limited to:

If you are evicted from the event site, your ticket will be void and any wristbands / accreditation will be removed. If you are evicted from the event site, you are not permitted to re-enter, or attempt to re-enter, the event site for the duration of the 2026 event. The Ejections & Refusals Manager decision is final. You are not eligible for refunds or compensation if you are evicted from the event site.

Tickets obtained in breach of these T&Cs shall be void, and all rights conferred on you or evidenced by such ticket shall be void. If you seek to gain entry to the Event using a void ticket, then we reserve the right to refuse you entry to the event or eject you from the event site. You may be liable to legal action for trespass. Void tickets are non-refundable.
